Erica Helms is the Environmental Services Manager within the Public Works Department. 

As part of her current role, Erica oversees the Village’s solid waste disposal program. Erica first came on board at the Village in 2021 as a Sustainability Fellow and in 2022 moved into the role of Farmers’ Market Manager in addition to her duties with the sustainability team. 

Erica has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of North Carolina and a master’s degree in urban planning with an environmental focus from the University of Illinois Chicago.
