Engagement Opportunities
Community Health Plan Public Engagement Session
Please join us in the Veteran's Room of the Main Brand of the Oak Park Public Library (834 Lake Street) between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for an open house to share draft implementation steps to further the Oak Park River Forest IPLAN community health improvement plan.
In this informational session hosted by the Oak Park Department of Public Health, you'll be able to learn about the goals, strategies, and draft implementation steps envisioned over the next five years under the IPLAN's four priority areas:
- Natural and Built Environment
- Mental Health & Substance Use
- Gun Violence
- Access to Care
You will also have the opportunity to connect with members of the public health department and partner agencies, hear about the work already being done, engage with fellow community members, share your perspectives, and learn about opportunities to get involved.
Brief remarks will be given around 6:15pm, but feel free to drop in anytime between 5:30-7:30pm. If you have any questions, please contact the Public Health Department at 708.358.5480 or
