The Oak Park Climate Action Network’s (OPCAN) Climate Coaches have been helping advise Oak Park residents on how to make their homes more energy efficient and upgrade their gas heating systems. The Village of Oak Park provides Energy Efficiency Grants and other assistance programs to make upgrades more affordable.

With your answers to the following questions, we will be able to help you make the best choices on when and what to buy and how to obtain the best incentives and rebates. And your answers will also help the Village determine how we could be most helpful. The survey will ask you some specific questions about your system and usage, so please have the following information available:
Capacity of your gas heating system in BTU per hour (usually on a label on the side of the unit)
Annual energy use from you electric and gas bills
Capacity of your electric panel in amps (usually found on the door or master circuit breaker)
