Key Dates

The Village of Oak Park is hosting four (4) community meetings to provide updates and gather input on the Dr. Percy L. Julian Chicago Avenue Streetscape Project. The public is invited to attend and participate in these important discussions regarding the future of this key local infrastructure project. All meetings will have the same structure and, therefore, attendees should not feel to compelled to attend multiple sessions.

Meetings will be held at the following dates, times, and locations:

• Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM – Beye School (230 N. Cuyler Ave.)
• Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 7:00 PM – Whittier School (715 N. Harvey Ave.)
• Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 7:00 PM – Beye School (230 N. Cuyler Ave.) 
• Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 7:00 PM – Whittier School (715 N. Harvey Ave.)

These meetings will offer residents and stakeholders the opportunity to learn more about the streetscape project, ask questions, and provide valuable feedback to the project team. Representatives from the Village of Oak Park and the project team will also be available to address concerns and gather input from the community.

All interested individuals are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts. This project is an important step in enhancing the streetscape and improving the infrastructure along Chicago Avenue.
