Consultation has concluded
The Ridgeland Avenue Bike Lane Feasibility Study consists of gathering information and evaluating the Ridgeland Avenue corridor to explore options for implementing bike lanes.
The study includes the three-miles of Ridgeland Avenue between Roosevelt Road and North Avenue.
The findings from the study were presented to the Transportation Commission on Dec. 9, 2024. The commission voted to discontinue the feasibility study at this time, while keeping bike lanes on Ridgeland Avenue as a long term goal within the bike plan. This recommendation will be presented to the Village Board at a meeting in 2025 (specific date to be determined).
