According to this Community Data Snapshot from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, the 2017-2021 American Community Survey estimated that 12.9 percent of the Oak Park population was considered to be non-English speaking, with less than 2.2% responding that they speak English less than "Very Well."

The Village is conducting a language access survey to better understand the language access needs in the community, particularly as it relates to Village Hall and other municipal facilities.

The survey is currently available below on this page in both English and Spanish. To request the same survey in another language, please email DEI@oak-park.us.
